I met Weston’s mom for coffee when she interviewed me to be her birth photographer and I remember thinking, even if she doesn’t hire me I want to be her friend! Lucky for me, she did hire me and I was right, she is an amazing person and I am happy to call her a friend.

Weston was supposed to be born at the birth center but after having her water broke for over 24 hours, she transferred to Boulder Community Hospital. I could see she was scared that a cesarean would be recommended but after a calming pep talk with the doctor on-call, her mind was put at ease. She continued to labor throughout the night and Weston was born the next morning with the support of her husband and amazing nurse.
